Ansanm Canada

Room to Read is expanding its efforts to support the Haitian diaspora in Canada by fostering inclusive and equitable learning environments. In collaboration with local nonprofit organizations and First Book Canada, we have initiated the distribution of Ansanm, a bilingual English/Haitian Creole book collection. This initiative aims to provide children and families with culturally relevant resources that honor their language and identity, aligning with our mission to advance literacy and education. To complement these efforts, local partners also have access to SPARK, a read-aloud program designed to help adults inspire a love for reading in children while developing language and literacy skills.
