Inside THE ROOM: Highlights From Room to Read’s 2026 New York Gala

Last week, Room to Read’s annual New York Gala transformed 583 Park Avenue into THE ROOM: Where every corner offers the promise of a better future. With a shared belief in the power of education to change the world, more than 300 guests from across finance, consumer, entertainment and media industries came together to celebrate what’s possible when children are given room to read, learn and grow. Together, the evening raised investments that will benefit more than 69,300 children through Room to Read’s literacy and gender equality programming.
We were proud to recognize CVC, a leading global private markets merger, and Stanley Hainsworth, founder and chief creative officer of Tether, as honorees for their commitment to education equity and support of Room to Read’s mission. The evening finished with celebratory performances from Rhonda Ross as well as DJ Jazzy Jeff.
