Nguyet Le
Nguyet Le comes to Room to Read with more than 20 years of experience in the education sector in Vietnam. She brings a strong background in strategic planning, program design, capacity building, and monitoring and evaluation across large-scale education initiatives funded by international development partners. She has proven expertise in leading complex programs and integrating innovative solutions into the national education system, particularly in the areas of gender equality, life skills development, mentoring and support for historically marginalized communities.
Prior to joining Room to Read, Nguyet held senior roles in a $93 million Asian Development Bank-funded project, where she led materials development, teacher training, and monitoring and evaluation components across 28 provinces. Her work focused on strengthening education quality through capacity building, curriculum integration, and system-level collaboration with government agencies. She also contributed to project design, gender mainstreaming, and policy implementation, ensuring alignment with national priorities and donor requirements.
Nguyet holds a master’s degree in linguistics a bachelor’s degree in English language teaching from Viet Nam National University, Hanoi, College of Foreign Languages. She has also completed professional training in project management and education planning in the United Kingdom and Italy, and is fluent in both Vietnamese and English.
