Thank you for supporting our work! Room to Read is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations are tax deductible. Although you can always donate using our secure credit card form, we also offer additional options that are just as easy.
Ways to Give
You may make an online donation using our PayPal donation page. This method requires you to have an existing PayPal account or create a new one as part of the donation process. Donations can be made in US or Canadian Dollars, British Pounds, Euros, or Japanese Yen. Please note: all PayPal donations are processed through our Global Office in the United States, so we can only provide a US tax receipt for donations made via PayPal.
Your donation, in honor or in memory of someone important to you, can help children in communities experiencing deep educational, gender and economic inequities. You'll get the chance to send them a customized e-card to let them know you made a donation in their honor.

Legacy GivingIn-kind donations are critical to our success. Room to Read relies on supporters’ generous contributions of new books, technology (e.g. software, hardware), new building supplies and materials (e.g. cement, paint) and pro-bono services in order to enhance our programs and maximize the efficiency of our work. Due to the varied needs and requirements of each country of operation, we evaluate each gift-in-kind opportunity on a case by case basis. Your donation of an award ticket will help keep our overhead costs low and continue to direct much-needed funds directly to our programs.
You can help Room to Read through matching gift or workplace giving programs. This can also be a great benefit to your company's PR and employee/employer relations. Your company may already have existing corporate matching and workplace giving programs in place. If so, it may be as simple as checking with your HR Department to ensure your company is set up to match donations or support workplace giving or searching for your company at the bottom of the page with Double the Donation.
Your company can support Room to Read through cause marketing, a mutually beneficial partnership through which your company donates a portion of proceeds from product sales. This model is easily sustainable – as your company grows, so does your social impact.
