Girls’ education has been recognized as the single greatest investment one can make to address global poverty. Studies continually show that when girls learn, positive outcomes follow: infant mortality drops, wages increase, and family health improves. Best of all, the lifelong benefit of education is more likely to be passed on to the next generation.

Room to Read has committed to helping girls improve their lives through the transformative power of education. This year, our supporters will help us reach 10,000 girls across 8 countries in Asia and Africa with an education through secondary school. The multiplier effect of this gift will impact women, their families and their communities for generations to come. Your investment helps ensure this.
