Today, more than 60 million girls around the world are out of school. Join the Calgary Chapter for a special screening of the documentary, He Named Me Malala. The film documents girls' education activist Malala Yousafzai's life and her fight for girls' education. 50% of proceeds will benefit Room to Read.

Beers for Books got Grimm!

NYC's #2, #3, and #6 rated breweries have already sponsored Beers for Books NYC events. Finally, NYC's #1 top-rated brewery, Grimm Artisan Ales, is on board for the next Beers for Books. Grimm will donate some of its magnificent brews to the craft beer raffle, along with a generous beer donation from Bushwick's Fine Fare Market, and gift certificates from some of Brooklyn’s best craft beer bars: Hop Shop, Bar Great Harry, Pacific Standard, and Uglyduckling.
