One of the best ways to find out more about Room to Read and help spread the word about our mission to educate children in developing countries is to attend an event in your area. Room to Read has volunteer chapters around the globe that host events to help us raise money and awareness for our programs. Please join us for a special holiday shopping event at the Elie Tahari Store on 5th Avenue. On this special evening, a percentage of sales will be donated to Room to Read. Guests can enjoy receiving 50% off the fall collection and 30% off new arrivals. We hope to see you there.

Cooking For a Cause with Room to Read, Parties That Cook, and Crushpad

Cook up a unique menu from Parties That Cook and sample original Crushpad wines as you enjoy dishes from Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Africa. After dinner Room to Read Founder John Wood will share the organization's story and why he has dedicated his life to providing much needed educational resources to children in Asia and Africa.
